A beautiful candle holder from the four season range from Bjorn Wiinblad. This monochrome black and white ceramic candle holder depicts the season winter. This candle holder was designed especially to commemorate 100 years Rosenthal. This candle holder was restored to production in the Jubilee year 1980 as marked on the base. The candle holder is in excellent condition.

Bjorn Wiinblad, born in 1919, he started working for Rosenthal in 1957 and has won many prestigious awards. Wiinblad recently passed away in June 2006, his pieces are highly collectible. WiinbladÕs designs exemplify Danish charm and wit. His ceramic figurines, plates, bowls, vases and candlesticks show stylistic characters.
