TERMS & CONDITIONS


RENTAL PERIOD

The rental period for the items is per 3 days, unless otherwise agreed.
Maximum 3 working days or one weekend Friday to Monday.
For longer rental periods, please contact us.

 

CANCELLATIONS

When the renting party cancels the order, cancellation charges will be charged. (15% of the rental charge).
If the order is cancelled 10 days before the beginning of an event as given on the order form, the cancellation fee will be 50% of the rental fee.
Candlepower has the right to cancel the order partitially or entirely, in the case of exceptional circumstances.

 

CHECK

When the articles are returned they are checked by us, (preferably in your presence).
The inspection is to certify that the correct quantity has been returned and the condition of the returned articles are also checked.
This inspection is binding.

 

BREAKAGE, DAMAGE, LOST item, aso.

All damages, lost items, whatever the cause are at the expense of the renting party.
The renting party is responsible for the rented articles until Candlepower Design have acknowledged receipt that the articles have been returned in writing.

 

TARIFFS

All prices shown for rental on the website are excluding VAT, transport costs and are in Euros
The prices given are per bundle and apply to the period which has been previously agreed between parties.
All prices are with reservation.

 

DELIVERY AND TRANSPORT COSTS

The transport charges for providing and picking up goods are on provided on request.
There are 3 options:
Rented articles can be picked up, delivered by us or by courier/post.

1. You pick up and return the rented articles with your own transport:

You must present identity papers, and for showing your address original bank statements no older than 2 months.
Rented articles need to be brought back at the agreed time. For articles charged on time costs are not brought.

2. Transport by Candlepower Design to your location.
The articles are transported by us to your location and you are instructed by us concerning their use.
Delivery is only to the ground floor and on one location unless a another arrangement has been arranged previously.
The articles have to there be ready for pick up as agreed at the location where they were delivered, unless otherwise agreed.
On the day of return the articles have to by 8.00am ready for pick up in the same manner on which the articles were provided.
If on the day of return the renting party does not have articles ready for sending then as from that date rent is charged until articles are returned.

3. By Courier/ Post
We use a reputable courier, postal service to transport your goods. If you have a preferred supplier, please let us know.
Delivery is only to the ground floor and on one location unless a another arrangement has been arranged previously.
The articles have to there be ready for pick up as agreed at the location where they were delivered, unless otherwise agreed.
On the day of return the articles have to by 8.00am ready for pick up in the same manner on which the articles were provided.
If on the day of return the renting party does not have articles ready for sending then as from that date rent is charged until articles are returned.

 

PAYMENT

Subject to differently sounding condition on the establishment order, an advance of 15% must be paid on each order.
You pay initially the deposit tariff for the articles.
When you return the articles we reimburse you, less the price of rental and any damages or losses.

Payment must have occurred fully before the articles are given into your possession.
Payment via banktransfer must be in our account 14 days before the event.

 

PROOF OF IDENTITY

Legitimation must occur with valid identity papers for rental of our articles.
